Pyotr Shetokhin

Pyotr Shetokhin (27th of March 1930, Riga, Republic of Latvia – 1st of October 2014, Riga, Republic of Latvia) – an artist, grandson of the architect Vladimir Lunsky.

After the Second World War Pyotr Shetokhin graduated from Riga School of Art and Architecture. He worked as an artist at the decoration of the House of Political Education (now the building of Riga Jewish Community), the Theatre of Opera and Ballet, as well as was decorating display windows of Riga shops. He also painted landscapes and still lifes. Shetokhin was especially fond of flowers - lilac and poppies.  

Pyotr Shetokhin died on 1st of October 2014 and is burried in Riga at the Ivanovskoe Cemetery next to his grandfather architect V. Lunsky.
