The Red Warehouses

The Red Warehouses have built in the second half of the 19th Century as trading storehouses. They were planned and designed by well known architects: J. Felsko, R. Shmeling, F.W. Hess. Some of the warehouses belonged to Russian traders: the Klimovs, Mukhins, Sobinovs, Starogins and others. Today the warehouses are used to store and sell all kinds of goods, although there are plans to transform this corner of Riga.
