Olga Bokshanskaya

Olga Bokshanskaya (born Nurenberg; 1891, Tartu, Russian Empire – 1948, Moscow, Russian SFSR) – the theatre figure, worked in the Moscow Artistic Academic Theatre  as a secretary of Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko.

Her family (Nurenberg) lived in Riga at the beginning of the 20-th century.

Her sister, Yelena married a famous writer Mikhail Bulgakov and was a prototype of Bulgakov's Margarita.

Olga Bokshanskaya was a secretary in the Commission on granting Stalin premiums. She left a great epistolaric legacy about the activities  of Moscow Art Academic Theatre in 1920-1940.
