Mikhail Bombin
Mikhail Bombin (1951, Riga – 2011, Riga) – correspondent of the radio «Svoboda» in Riga. Since 1988 cooperated with democratic press in the Soviet Union and sent his reports to Munich and Prague. M. Bombin was declared as dissident and prosecuted.
He became very popular as a democratic journalist (free thinking). He worked in the radio «Svoboda» as correspondent in Riga and was highly esteemed by his colleagues for his progressive views and struggle for human rights.
