Melety Kallistratov

Melety Kallistratov (1896, Daugavpils, Russian Empire – 1941, Daugavpils, Latvian SSR). Born in Dvinsk (Daugavpils). Fought in the First World War, then participated in the White Movement (anticommunist Russian army). Permanent leader of the Old Believers List. Member of the 1st to the 4th Saeimas. Was arrested after dictator Ulmanis came to power, spent 9 months in prison.
