Ivan Klementyev
Ivan Klementyev (1960, Jekabpils District of the Latvian SSR) – Olympic Champion (1988) and multiple world champion in solo canoeing. As member of the Latvian team, won silver medals at the Olympic Games in 1992 and 1996. Politician, member of the Saeima of Latvia since 2006
