Ivan Nikolich (1820, Riga, Russian Empire –1879, Kazan, Russian Empire) – a teacher of the Russian language, director of public schools, reviser of the dictionary of Ivan Pavlovsky, compiler of educational books, Assistant Trustee of Kazan (1865-1868 and 1873-1879) and Dorpat (1868-1873) Educational districts, publicist and public figure.
