Building of the Latvian Academy of Sciences

Building of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.  – Riga, 1 Akademijas Square. 

Built partly on the site of the former Gostinny Dvor. Originally in a building designed in the ‘Stalin Heights’ style, it was supposed to accommodate the House of Collective Farmers. On completion of its construction (1958), the building was given over to the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
