Pyotr Shetokhin was born in Riga in 1930 in the family of the hereditary Riga inhabitants.After the Second World War he graduated from Riga architecture and arts school. Heused to decorate shop windows, simultaneously mastering painting. He is the author ofabout 1000 pictures. Landscapes, still-life and flowers occupy the main place in hiscreative activity. |

The
Lunsky`s and the Shetokhin`s families belong to the hereditary Riga
inhabitants. Vladimir Lunsky was the main province and synodal
architect of Lifland. Vladimir Shetokhin was notable for his good voice
and maintained an opera studio in Riga in 1920-1930. The Lunskies and
the Shetokhins became related to each other in 1916, and as the result
of the marriage there appeared two children: Zoya and Petr
(see his photo album). |
