Valery Ushakov
Valery Ushakov (1940, Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR – 2014, Riga, Republic of Latvia) – Habilitated Doctor of Engineering (Dr. habil. sc. ing.), Professor, a specialist on the field of aviation. Rector of the Riga Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers from 2988 to 1990. Buried in Kyiv, Ukraine.
