Vladimir Bagirov

Vladimir Bagirov (1947) – lawyer, associate professor of the Baltic International Academy.

Vladimir Bagirov born on 23 December 1947 in Russia. In March 1953 his family moved to Riga. He graduated from the University of Latvia, faculty of law. From 1972 to 1992 worked in Latvian   Republic Department of the All-Union agency on copyrights as counsel, senior counsel and then assistant head of the Department. V.Bagirov started his career as lecturer since 1975. Since 1994 has been working in the Baltic International Academy (BIA) in Riga. Has been elected associate professor of the BIA and since 1996 - head of post-graduate studies. V. Bagirov reads the course in intellectual property law, family and hereditary law. V.Bagirov is the author of more than 60 scientific articles on the problems of law. His main specialization is intellectual property.
