Matvey Kadek (1897, Courland Governorate, Russian Empire – 1950, Riga, Latvian SSR) – Doctors of Geography, academitian and the 1-st vice-president of the Academy of Science of Latvian SSR, rector of Latvian State University (1944-1949).
