Igor Chinnov

Igor Chinnov (1909, Tukums, Courland Governorate, Russian Empire – 1996, Florida, USA) –a poet and professor of Russian.

Born in Tukums, graduated from the Riga  City Secondary Scool and the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. Emigrated to the West during the Second World War. Lived in the USA from 1962. His gift as a poet became fully apparent while abroad.
