From 1850 to 1884 the St. Peter and Paul Church was a Cathedral. In 1886 the church was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Orthodox parish. After the Second World War the church was made into a military store. In 1987 the building was restored. It now houses the ‘Ave Sol’ concert hall.
