Alexander Kaverznev

Alexander Kaverznev (1932, Riga, Republic of Latvia – 1983, Moscow, Russian SFSR) –  one of the most popular TV journalists of international affairs.

Born in Riga, where he spent his childhood and youth. Worked for the USSR Central Television in Moscow. Achieved acclaim for his coverage of events from hot spots of the world, including Afghanistan.
