Mikhail Chekhov

Mikhail Chekhov (1897, St. Petersburg, Russian Empire – 1955, Beverly Hills, California, USA ) – an outstanding actor and director, worked at the Riga Russian theatre from 1932-1934.

The Riga Russian Theatre started its 124th season on 3 October 2006 under the new name of the Mikhail Chekhov Russian Theatre in Riga.
